The organization supports its members with medical services, food, and care during times of illness. It also helps mitigate costs incurred from natural disasters, such as house damages, floods, and the loss of parents in the case of young children. Funeral services are provided for organization members and their families.
Currently, the organization relies on contributions from its members to carry out its social responsibilities as outlined in its constitution. To enhance its capacity, the organization is undertaking an agricultural project on its 4-hectare land just outside Tanga City. This is part of a 10-year strategic plan aimed at guiding the organization toward engaging in economic activities within the realms of culture and the arts. The plan represents a strategy to consolidate ideas on how to build a large cultural institution that benefits the broader community.
